A Bridge Across Borders and a Safeguard for Victims

Every country maintains a National Motor Insurers' Bureau, responsible under its own national laws for managing, investigating, and settling claims involving vehicles carrying a Green Card. As Iran's official executor of compulsory international third-party motor insurance, our institute operates within this framework — carrying out insurance operations in accordance with the international Green Card system and our membership in the Council of Bureaux (COB). We deliver seamless international coverage for truck drivers and travelers, working closely with Central Insurance of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Iranian Insurers' Syndicate, and the Chamber of Commerce. Oversight of the global Green Card system — including coordination between national bureaus and resolution of cross-border disputes — is managed by the Council of Bureaux, headquartered in Brussels, Belgium.
